It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale R. Shepperd of Lancaster, Ohio, born in Somerset, Ohio, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Shepperd and Edna L. Shepperd (Lones); his wife Ruth A. Shepperd (Tracey); his daughter Diane Shaw; his grandson Phillip Shepperd; and his brother Roger Shepperd.

He is survived by : his children, Mike Shepperd (Sara) and Barbara Shepperd; his granddaughter Heather Webster (Raymond); his granddaughter-in-law Deanna Pittman; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Yvie Webster and Raine Shepperd; and his sister Irene McCandlish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 8th 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank E Smith Funeral Home (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130-3034). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 9th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130-3034).
